John Wick if his dog never got killed…

Keanu Reeves has well and truly re-entered his rockstar era, with the Matrix alum’s band, the widely adored Dogstar, having released their first single in over two decades. Fittingly titled ‘Everything Turns Around’, the new single is a nostalgic lowborn that treat the line between ’90s punk and country, a tender balance that’s reflective of just how long its been since Dogstar were angsty twenty-somethings that were taking the world by storm.

The accompanying video is your standard Gen X rock clip, with the trio shown performing the new track in a variety of locations, from empty city centres to seedy parking garages and of course, the quintessential desert landscape with the sky timelapse in the periphery.

Along with the new offering, the band have taken their resurgence a step further, announcing their upcoming album Somewhere Between the Power Lines and Palm Trees, which lands on October 6th. Taking to Instagram to share the news, the band wrote online, “WE ARE BACK!!! Thank you to everyone who came out to The Roxy last night…

“We are so excited to announce our new album Somewhere Between the Power Lines and Palm Trees out on October 6th on our label Dillon Street Records. A very limited quantity of signed vinyl is available in the Official Shop – act quick!”
