It’s been just over a year since Sticky Fingers farewelled the crowds at Party in the Paddock, announcing that they’d be going on an ‘indefinite hiatus.’

The future of the band has since been clouded with mystery, with many wondering just if and when we would be seeing the Inner-West favourites back in action. However, it now seems that they’ll be back very soon – with the band posting an image on Instagram alongside the caption ‘look who’s back.’

It’s their first post in 12 months, and it seems like the comeback is being welcomed with open arms – racking up over 30,000 likes since it was posted an hour ago:

Look who’s back.

The latest post from Sticky Fingers has come on the eve of Bad Friday festival this weekend – which the band are heavily rumoured to be playing as the secret headliner. Sticky’s very own Freddy Crabbs has been featured heavily in Bad Friday promo videos, which gives us a strong hint that this is the return that fans have been waiting for.

Details are flimsy so far, but expect to see a lot more from Sticky Fingers in 2018.
