Whether its the assertive sounds of drill music or Kanye’s ever-expansive catalogue, Chicago has long remained a hub for hip-hop to flourish.

One Chi-town artist who’s carved out his own lane is Lupe Fiasco, who’s been consistently dropping thought-provoking raps since his explosion onto the scene with ‘Kick, Push’ in 2006. Having released his album Drogas Light earlier this year, Fiasco will be playing five shows in major cities across the country this January, marking his first visit to Australia in over three years.

While he has a healthy catalogue of material to choose from, there’s only one question on the mind of all Aussie punters: Will Fiasco bring out Australian Idol champion Guy Sebastian for a live rendition of ‘Battle Scars’? Only time will tell.
