Lockdown has definitely been challenging for all of us this year, the forced solitude forcing us to drastically change how we live our lives while we adjust to the new normal. Luckily, Australia seems to be coming out the other side, but for the people in the US and other parts of the world, lockdown is still very real, with fundamental parts of life like dating being turned upside down. Miley Cyrus has opened up on how she’s been adjusting to the new normal, telling Howard Stern “This time has been really interesting and challenging for any sort of dating or meeting people. I do a lot of FaceTime sex – it’s the safest sex. I’m not getting Covid.
“I am definitely not going to be doing anything that’s irresponsible for myself or for other people. It’s just ridiculous for anybody that won’t take the right precautions to keep each other safe. It’s f***ed up.”
Definitely fair enough, and it’s super cool to see her be so candid about topics that are a fundamental part of life & dont get talked about enough.
She also opened up on her ‘Prisoner’ collaborator Dua Lipa, with Stern low-key trying to hook the two of them up, saying to Miley “it looks like the two of you are having full-on sex” when referring to the music video. Miley handled it like a pro however saying “We did not have sex. Dua Lipa constantly reminds me. She gives me the ‘in your dreams’.
“I’ve never actually had a wet dream about Dua Lipa. That’s something that she’s projecting onto me. I did not get to have sex with her unfortunately.”
Then in classic Miley hilarity, she keeps going, almost having a mini dialogue in her head, except its with Howard Stern, saying “I don’t really wanna f*** Dua Lipa that much. I think I know her too well as a friend, and, like, I don’t know – not really, no.
“But I definitely like kind of pretending that we have because it ends up getting us a lot of views on our music video. So, it’s just manipulation, just the standard pop culture manipulation.
“OK, I kind of want to f*** her, like, five percent. The more and more I’m thinking about it, I kind of do.” Never say Miley doesn’t give amazing interviews, check out the video for ‘Prisoner’ below.
