Nothing like a little bit of Gang Of Youths to get you through the morning.

With MTV Australia announcing that their iconic unplugged sessions would be returning to our screens a couple of months back, with indie rockers Gang Of Youths as their debut act, we’ve been counting down the days for its premiere. And now we have our first look at their performance with a stripped back rendition of ‘Let Me Down Easy.’

Swapping out drums and electric guitars for strings, we see front man Dave Le’aupepe deliver a dashing performance as he serenades the intimately small (and lucky) audience. It’s a stark contrast to the size of the shows the group will be playing in October and November when they head over to the states to support Foo Fighters, before a huge run of concerts around Australia.
