Seattle’s Mudhoney will make an Australian appearance for the first time in nine years…

Mudhoney has today (October 25) announced a massive Australian tour slated for 2023. Spanning April and May of next year, the band’s 13-date tour will take them across six states, and marks their first run of Australian shows since 2014. The Seattle four-piece will first take to Bryon Bay’s The Northern venue on April 15, before heading to The Zoo in Brisbane the following day (April 16).

Next, Mudhoney will make tour stops at Sydney’s Factory Theatre, Wollongong’s UOW Uni Bar and Canberra’s Kambri at ANU. The band will then perform four shows at separate venues across Melbourne, before wrapping up the tour from May 3 to May 5 in Adelaide, Perth and Margaret River. Elsewhere, Mudhoney will perform a set at NSW’s Gumball Festival. Scroll down for the complete list of Mudhoney’s 2023 Australian tour dates.

Mudhoney will perform tracks spanning the full length of their three-decade discography, which began with the release of debut single ‘Touch Me I’m Sick’ in 1988. Since then, the band have shared 10 studio albums and two EPs, the most recent of which — titled Morning in America — arrived in 2019. Mudhoney are currently at work on their new eleventh studio album — a follow up to 2018’s Digital Garbage — which is expected to be released in 2023.
