If you’re heading to the Gold Coast for the Supercar 500 this weekend, you’re in luck, because the biggest event on the Australian Supercars calendar has assembled a mammoth lineup for Halloween weekend. Now, in addition to witnessing some of the best in Australian motorsports go head-to-head, you’ll also be party to a generous servicing of live music, as the event has curated a lineup for lovers of all Aussie artists and genres.
Leading the way are legendary Aussie music duo, The Presets, who will be performing their most iconic hits from their first album, Since I Left You, all the way to 2020’s We Will Always Love You. Joining them are renowned party starters, Client Liaison, along with Illy and globe-trotting dance extraordinaire, Havana Brown. And in what’s a nice addition, Brisbane locals (and renowned trolls), Mash’d N Kutcher, will also take the stage alongside John Course and Total Eclipse.
It’s a pretty big undertaking that’s managed to achieve universal appeal in its execution. It seems such balance is by design, with CEO Shane Howard explaining, “As the biggest annual sporting event in Queensland, we are committed to making it the ultimate celebration, ensuring it remains the highlight of the year for fans who travel from all corners to experience the magic of Surfers Paradise. The Club 500 stage will come alive with seven major acts over all three nights of the event.”
And I know what you’re thinking, but rest assured, if you’ve already purchased a ticket to the Gold Coast 500, you won’t have to pay any extra, as all music performances are already included in your ticket.
