While we were fast asleep, Nick Murphy FKA Chet Faker dropped a new track in ‘Medication,’ now live for your listening pleasure.

Since reverting to his birth name, Murphy has released a slew of singles and the Missing Link EP, bringing it all to life with some spectacular shows as part of Vivid Live at the Sydney Opera House in June. Now, the bearded wonder has returned with another single on Future Classic, with ‘Medication’ combining his hearty vocals with dark, distorted production. Murphy says that ‘Medication’ is “a song about ignorance and flawed logic. I wanted to see what it was like writing about ego-fuelled confidence.”

While we’re still waiting on the follow up to his Built On Glass album, ‘Medication’ is a promising sign of things to come. Murphy will be playing all over the United States and Europe in the coming months, so catch him at the dates below if you happen to be abroad. In the meantime, we’ll just listen to ‘Medication’ and await his homecoming:
