Yesterday, Nicki Minaj has announced the title and release date for her forthcoming album at The Met Gala. The Young Money heavyweight states the title of her next full-length effort will be called Queen and can be expected to drop June 15.
Nicki has been building anticipation for her next project throughout the year by featuring on records alongside the likes of Migos, Rae Sremmurd and Young Thug. Earlier in April, she simultaneously dropped two singles, Barbie Tings and Chun Li, with accompanying music videos.
The coming album marks Nicki’s return since her third studio album Pinkprint, back in 2014. The four year interim has been the longest period of time the Queens native has taken in-between projects. Gear up!
