And the What So Not news keeps on coming.

We recently got news that What So Not’s highly-anticipated album Not All The Beautiful Things would be dropping on March 9, and since then, we’ve been fed little tastes of the album. First, there was ‘Be Ok Again’ featuring Daniel Johns, then came ‘Stuck In Orbit’ with BUOY, and now the homegrown producer has dropped an absolute thumper titled ‘Beautiful.’

It stars emerging Swedish vocalist Winona Oak, blending her fragile vocals with dancefloor-ready house production. The track was constructed in the jungles of Nicaragua, and you can hear the results here:

“‘Beautiful’ enters delicately with Winona’s internal dialog. There’s a sense of optimism, anxiousness and longing, but also an undertone of sadness, all reinforced with the incredible duality along her vocal range,” What So Not says of the track. “It’s always intrigued me how this song evokes such a feeling of freedom and open space, yet the protagonist sounds quite troubled. I think the hypnotic and intoxicating energy of the production also adds to this perplexity.”

Alongside the tour dates, What So Not has also announced his biggest Australian tour yet. The Beautiful Things national run will visit Perth, Adelaide, Melbourne, Sydney and Brisbane, pairing What So Not’s latest tunes with his specially curated stage set-up. It’s looking like a large one, with tickets going on sale from 10:00am on Tuesday, March 6. Grab them here and see the full dates and details below:
