Time to regrow the fringe…

Following a global resurgence that, although started off ironically, has now catapulted them to the top of the music world, US rock band Paramore have now announced a bunch of shows Down Under. Teased via a cryptic Instagram post that simply read “6.27 – g’day” and a link to a dedicated website, the trio confirmed the rumours just last night.

Slated to kick off in Auckland on November 18th, the tour will see the band play three dates across Australia, taking to the likes of Brissy’s Entertainment Centre on November 22nd and Sydney’s The Domain on November 25th before finishing off at Melbourne’s Rod Laver Arena on November 27th. On opening duties is US singer Remi Wolf, whose signature brand of bubblegum pop has enjoyed mass adoration across the world, with the biggest of which being her collaboration with Dominic Fike, ‘Photo ID’.

The news comes following the release of Paramore’s latest album, This Is Why, which they’ve been taking on a mammoth world tour as of late. However, they’ve also found time to squeeze in a couple of covers into the setlist as well, most recently playing ‘My Hero’ with none other than the Foo Fighters at Bonnaroo just last week.
