With countless festivals and concerts being scrapped as a result of COVID-19, we’re seeing a lot of plans already being made for 2021. The latest victim of the craziness, Outside Lands, has scrapped the 2020 iteration of the festival, instead announcing dates for August 6 – 8 next year. Along with the announcement, organisers also dropped the full lineup, with acts such as Tame Impala, The Strokes, Tyler, the Creator, Young Thug and many more gracing the bill.
Those who’ve already copped tickets to the Outside Lands 2020 will have their tickets remain valid for 2021, with full refunds being offered for any that can’t make next year’s event.
“We are thrilled for the festival to be coming back in 2021,” Allen Scott, co-producer of the festival said. “There’s been a lot of bad news out there with regard to COVID-19 and we want to give people something to look forward to. We’re hopeful that in sharing our excitement about the future of the festival and next year’s lineup, that it provides some much-needed positivity for our fans and community.”
Pretty sad news but totally understandable. Suss the full lineup below.
