Round one sees Bilal, Big K.R.I.T, Devin The Dude, Cosmo’s Midnight, Star Slinger, Pomo, Total Giovanni, Pender Street Steppers, Kucka and Harvey Sutherland set to take over the University of Sydney come Saturday September 26th.

Presented by forward-thinking labels Astral People and Yes Please,  Philadelphia native and singer songwriter Bilal is one of the first headliners – he’s worked with the likes of Kendrick Lamar, Common, Erykah Badu, Jay-Z, Beyoncé, Guru, J Dilla, Robert Glasper, The Roots, and many more and has just dropped his latest album ‘In Another Life’. The festival will also see debut performances of Southern rap’s frequent collaborators Big K.R.I.T and Devin The Dude.

Local favourites Cosmo’s Midnight will join crazy band Total Giovanni, while Perth’s Kucka and Melbourne’s Harvey Sutherland will be representing their state’s best new music.
