The Sydney electro artist puts a fresh spin on ‘At The Movies’

With her split single You And I/Le Soleil already garnering over 60k Spotify streams in a little over a month, it seemed only a matter of time before we’d get to see the visual accompaniment to one of Owl Eyes’ tracks. Finally, we have the clip for ‘You And I’ – and it was well worth the wait.

Directed by Duc Thinh Dong, the video captures the disco energy of the song masterfully, with Owl Eyes’ character immune to the infectious tune that is causing mass dancing all around her. The lighting and grading give the clip a noirish feel as we follow her and her crew as they party in a vintage cinema that has some eery vibes.

“I have admired Duc’s work for a while. He is one of the most exciting creatives I’ve met. He has an electric energy that makes everyone feel supported so that they are able to express themselves,” Owl Eyes says of the video. “It was such a great experience being able to bring our styles and ideas together on this collaboration.”
