We all know it’s hard out there for musicians right now. We don’t need JZ to tell us that music sales are dropping – but in the brightly-lit, bubble-gum electronic music corners of the internet, the tumblr kids are coming up with other ways to get that money. PC Music’s QT (a collab between producers Quinn Thomas, A.G. Cook, and Sophie) – whose track ‘Hey QT’ has brought J-POP sounding vocals to XL Records – is part woman, part tongue-in-cheek energy drink advertisement is now actually releasing the ‘Elixir’.

The London-based label has announced that you can now buy the ‘QT Energy Elixir’ – to drink, presumably alongside watching the highly caffeinated video with chipmunk vocals (below) which they say is: “DrinkQT is a 5-calorie, sugar-free, 250ml drink, manufactured to contribute to upward shine, vertical connectivity and personal growth.” In addition to the drink your money gets you a “Custom Greeting,” “Special edition packaging,” and a signed photo. We don’t know what this will look, or indeed taste like, but you can get a hold of it here. Maybe they’ll bring out a lemonade next.
