Bit of fun-loving vibrance for your Thursday mornings…

You’ve definitely seen Brisbane delight Hallie around a bunch lately. Whether it be kicking ass in Like A Versions, winning Unearthed Big Sound comps or, if you’re lucky enough, straight up smashing it live at a gig in Brissy, there’s no denying that she’s a proper force to be reckoned with. And, much to our collective joy, she’s got the gorgeous quirkiness and love of life to match; especially in the clip for her latest single ‘Sydney Hates Me,’ which is out now.

The one shot video, (which Hallie directed in collaboration with Zoe Hilditch, talk about an all-rounder!) sees the Brissy muso traipse through a classic video shoot with some fellow queens pampering her up. Except, the vid has this lush DIY twist as it visually maps out the story of her failed attempts to play shows in Sydney, but continuously being knocked back. Featuring numerous outfits, coloured backdrops and one very envy-inducing tambourine, the clip sees Hallie properly shine as the killer artist that she is, and you’re getting an early look at a star on the rise, mark my words!

Naturally, with a clip as fun-loving as this, there are gonna be a couple of sneaky BTS shots just waiting to be enjoyed.
