The rapper was set to kick off his debut Australian visit tonight in Perth, but promoters Illusive have now stated that the show – along with dates in Sydney, Melbourne and Brisbane – have been cancelled due to ‘personal reasons.’ The news comes as a double blow for Playboi fans, seeing as he also postponed his initial tour that was set to hit Australia back in March.
“We sincerely apologise to those affected,” Illusive continue in a statement posted to Facebook. “All ticketholders will automatically be refunded by the relevant show’s authorised ticketing agency, no further action is required. Please allow up to seven working days for the refund to be processed.”
