Post Malone has well and truly done it all in his numerous years in the limelight, selling out stadiums across the globe, headlining festivals and getting more face tattoos than Tekashi 6ix9ine. In recent years, however, he’s deviated from the standard hip hop route to delve into his country roots.
As a result, we’ve gotten a more in-depth at the man behind the ink, with Posty (real name Austin Richard Post) showing himself to be a super endearing, down to earth muso. It’s a sentiment that’s fully on display in his recent appearance on NPR’s Tiny Desk series. Known for stripping away all the glitz and glam and showing artists at their most raw, Tiny Desk has managed to serve up some of the most enduring live sets of the past decade. And now that Post has joined its ranks, we cant help but thinking that he and the online performance series are a match made in heaven.
In a move that might have left his auto-tune feeling a bit neglected, Posty, armed with a lone guitar and a bunch of backing musos and vocalists, went for gold as he battled though battered vocal cords and nerves to deliver stirring renditions of ‘Sunflower’, ‘I Fall Apart’ and ‘Circles’.

But the real showstopper? None other than ‘Enough Is Enough’, from his latest album AUSTIN, released just last month. It’s without a doubt the highlight of the set, and it gives a sneak peak into what lies ahead in old mate’s future. Check out the full performance below.
