Float blissfully into your long weekend with a new joint from local three-piece, Bootleg Rascal.

Having recently completed their first international headline tour and shows alongside Sticky Fingers back home, Bootleg Rascal have been bolstered in the studio, preparing for the release of their sophomore album this October. After being revealed to the world by Triple J last night, we’re now holding the online premiere for their latest single ‘With You,’ which provides a nice segue into your four-day weekend.

‘With You’ is a cross-genre slice of spaced-out soul and groove, with live instruments poking through a haze of lingering vocals and a cracking hook to boot. The track will feature on another full-length from Bootleg Rascal, who state that this time around, their exploring heavily with melodic elements and throwback synths.

But that’s not all – in celebration of ‘With You,’ Bootleg Rascal have announced a free show tonight at The Record Crate in Glebe. How good is free stuff? All you have to do is RSVP right here, and get on that ASAP, because spaces are very limited. Tonight’s pop-up show will act as a precursor for Rascal’s more extensive Australian tour which kicks off next week.
