Feel good trap.

The independent Ethiopian-born Gold Coast-based rapper goes from strength to strength with his latest track.

Following up on his previous single ‘Sea Of Dreams’ with frequent collaborator NIFFD, the new song has a more upbeat but similarly melancholy feel to it. While the subject matter reflects some feelings of isolation, it’s packaged in a half-sung-half-rapped flow over bouncing production and speaks to the importance of a positive outlook on life. A sentiment which rings true as CK thrives and shines on the track.

“Thottie represents the feeling of being able to dance, be happy and feel free to be and do whatever you want no matter the situation you are in. You can be financially stressed or have insecurities but can still stay positive and find ways to groove and celebrate life. I want to influence an uplifting mood with this track where everyone can vibe and dance to it.”
