Having sold out multiple shows at the Wollongong uni bar in 2019 off the back of his head boppin’, hip shakin’ debut single ‘The King is Back’, Big Twisty & The Funknasty today shares his sophomore release, the unflappable ‘Pick Up Truck. The tongue-in-cheek track is the perfect combo of old school funk with bangin’ 90’s hip hop bars. You won’t be able to shake the infectious chorus from your head, with Twisty and co. seemingly on a mission to write that summer anthem – and they just might have pulled it off.

Along with the tune, the Ali G of the South Coast, has dropped the flyest music video of the year for his song featuring the rest of the Funknasty’s. The clip involves the gang pimpin’ around the streets in a Chevy, while Big Twisty is dressed appropriately in a bright yellow boiler suit and a red bucket hat drippin’ in chainzzz.
