Get familiar with Valley Queen right here.

When their debut Australian release, ‘Boiling Water’, dropped a few weeks back, Aussie listeners couldn’t get enough of Valley Queen. After receiving radio play around the country and collecting a stack of new fans, it seemed like only a matter of time before they’d be throwing some more delicious pop hooks and grungey guitars our way.

Today the gritty, yet polished, LA indie lords have returned with the title track from their forthcoming LP, Supergiant – and it’s everything we hoped for. Fuzzed out riffs juxtapose frontwoman Natalie Carol’s soaring vocals, sucking us right in from the beginning, before the four-piece serenade us with a country-flavoured chorus that we guarantee will be swimming around in your head for days.

At this stage there’s no word on when the group, who are signed to Australia label Bread and Butter Records, will be making their way Down Under, though it’s hard to imagine they’ll keep their swelling Australian fan base waiting too long. Stay tuned, and head here to stream the tune on all platforms.
