Premiere: NYUON Gets Pensive In His ‘Old Timers’ Video

Melbourne talent NYUON already has over one million Spotify streams comfortably under his belt, and today he continues to bolster his solid profile with the release of a new video for ‘Old Timers.’

Taking heavy influence from conscious and self-reflective rap, NYUON’s considered bars are paired with meditative production for a track that reclines gently on your earholes, despite the heavy subject matter. “Old Timers is a personal detox for me, like a therapy session, just me getting some thoughts and emotions off my mind and my chest,” he says. It’s a welcome break from rap’s more maximalist approach in recent times, and now ‘Old Timers’ receives a video that continues the pensive themes.

Running off the introspective audio, the visuals suitably feature NYUON rapping solo in the nighttime – something fans will be able to see in a club environment when he launches his single on May 25 at Boney, Melbourne.
