White Blanks’‘I Don’t Wanna (DIE)’ is the grungey track we need to get us through to the weekend.

Having jumped on support slots for Dune Rats, Hockey Dad and Drunk Mums over the last year or so, Wollongong punk-infused, grunge three-piece White Blanks have clearly caught the attention of some of biggest names in the Aussie rock scene. Listen to their latest ‘I Don’t Wanna (DIE)’ today, and you’ll realise exactly why they are hot property right now.

The track bundles all the best parts of headbanging garage into one neat little package; heavy guitars, melodic verses, a chorus you can sing along to, and even some nah nah nah’s for those of us whose singing abilities are strictly limited to a couple of notes. Contrary to the title, all we wanna do now is crack some tins, march out of the office and catch these guys live.

The energetic lads are keen to get out there and share the track too. “Stoked to be going on a little tour for the single! We have a bunch of sick shows and threw some all ages ones in there too with some ripping supports like Milky Thread and Spit Shewy, then playing at the metro with Skeggs and Twin Peaks will be so epic,” drummer/vocalist Kyle Squires says.

You can witness White Blanks yourself at Selina’s in Coogee next Friday (event here), as well as a bunch of other dates in October below (info here).
