The legendary rock outfit will be touching down in January 2025.

Primal Scream are heading back to Australia, and it’s about time! Frontier Touring has announced the Scottish legends will hit Melbourne, Sydney, Brisbane, Adelaide, and Perth in January 2025, marking their first shows down under since 2018.

The band that gave us iconic tracks like ‘Movin’ On Up’, ‘Rocks’, ‘Loaded’, and ‘Swastika Eyes’ will be bringing their full force, alongside new tunes from their upcoming album Come Ahead, dropping in November. Tracks like ‘Love Insurrection’, which MOJO calls “a call for peace, love, and understanding from within a funky disco fug,” and the darker ‘Deep Dark Waters’ will give fans a taste of Primal Scream’s latest creative burst.

Frontman Bobby Gillespie is hyped for the new release, saying, “I’m very excited about this album in a way that you would be making your first record. If there was an overall theme to Come Ahead it might be one of conflict, whether inner or outer. There is also a thread of compassion running through the album. The title is a Glaswegian term. If someone threatens to fight you, you say, ‘come ahead!’ It’s redolent of the indomitable spirit of the Glaswegian, and the album itself shares that aggressive attitude and confidence. They have a word for this up there, gallus. Come Ahead’s quite a cheeky title too.”
