The upcoming record marking his first major project since 2022’s WHO CARES? After a brief hiatus, Rex is returning with a deeply personal and introspective record.
The Alexander Technique is a highly autobiographical album. Rex describes it as “a look into my own brain and experiences over the last few years – it’s almost a diary.” The album’s narrative is driven by his reflections and personal growth during this period.

He’s also shared two new singles, the solemn, near spoken word ‘Alexander’ which documents a visit to a doctor (and much deeper) through a tongue in cheek lens, and ‘Guitar Song’ which sways between folk, orchestral pop and jazz in a way that somehow feels natural..
Rex shared his thoughts on the new direction: “I’ve made a lot of love songs over the years, and I feel as though this is the first time I’m trying to make a project about everything in life. In my mind, it’s exactly what I’ve always wanted to make.”
