Rihanna Goes Futuristic Punk For Paper Magazine Cover Shoot

Last month we rounded up 10 of Rihanna’s hardest, head-turning looks in honour of her 29th birthday, and there’s a few more in her latest shoot for Paper Magazine’s Break The Rules issue.

Given the theme, it’s only suitable that Rihanna strays into futuristic punk territory in the shoot with Sebastian Faena, where she owns several looks including gelled green hair spikes and neon fur coats. This is mixed in with some more downplayed outfits including baseball caps and a striped rugby, all set against the backdrop of a classic bodega. Do you look this fiery when doing your groceries?

It’s been a decade since RiRi first blessed Paper Magazine, and it’s fitting that she’s returned for the ‘Break The Rules’ issue given her lengthy career as a style icon. Furhermore, she shoot arrives as she prepares for her third Fenty collection in collabration with Puma.
