Aussie singer-songwriter Ruby Fields is back with a vengeance for our Tuesday arvos, dropping a lush indie-rock offering in her latest single ‘R.E.G.O.’ and the accompanying video.

The tune sees her strum those signature guitars (which she probably strung herself) with some punchy vocals fitted with a blaze of distortion, crafting a mosh-pit suited jam that would be just heaven to headbang too (we might’ve already got a head-start). Lyrically the tune sees the Cronulla rocker reflect and travel back to her early days in her first share house, recapturing the moments of bliss and urgency that define so many of our early lives out of home.

The accompanying video sees Ruby play an older version of herself – rocking some dope RSL-themed pearls and the most flash cardigan possible, perfectly juxtaposing her acts of smoking and skating to her hearts delight through the video (and into our hearts). It’s filled to the brim with fun-loving heart and rawness, a dichotomy that she’s properly mastered throughout her numerous releases.

Needless to say, if you’re looking for a little Tuesday ridiculousness to put a good spring in your step, check out ‘R.E.G.O’ and the accompanying video below.
