Electro trio SAFIA are at it again, with new banger ‘Starlight’ here just in time for the weekend.

Having delivered a blistering set earlier in the year at Splendour In The Grass, it seems Canberra natives Safia are keen to keep the momentum building. The three-piece have just dropped the follow-up track to single ‘Freakin’ Out,’ in the form of spacey electro jam ‘Starlight’ and have announced a tour to go along with it.

The hook-laden track is sure to be a favourite among fans, with the lyrics being an abstract analysis of surrender. “At its core Starlight is a song about letting go, and the world that it creates is designed to capture that feeling. In retrospect the song also represents an important shift in perspective, both creatively and personally,” says the group.
