It’s only a few more weeks until the release of Smith’s highly-anticipated sophomore album The Thrill of it All, and Australians will be treated to a live performance of the new material when he pops Down Under for an exclusive show on January 16.
Smith will be taking over the Sydney Opera House for the one-off, and the opulent venue is sure to add plenty of atmosphere to his warm catalogue. With current single ‘Too Good at Goodbyes’ doing the rounds, it sounds like we’re in for a treat – especially after his recent performance on Saturday Night Live.
Smith last visited Australia in 2015, running off the huge momentum from his debut album In the Lonely Hour and breakout appearance on Disclosure’s house anthem, ‘Latch.’ While it’s been a long wait for Smith’s return, the single show is definitely going to please Sydneysiders who don’t mind a ballad or two.
See all the details below, while the pre-sale begins on Thursday, October 12. Tickets to the general public will go on sale from Monday, October 16 – find more information here, and get ready for this one to sell out in a flash:
