Saturday’s Keep Sydney Open Rally May Be Stopped By The NSW Police Commissioner

Following news of Mike Baird’s unexpected resignation, Keep Sydney Open are gaining some hot momentum ahead of this Saturday’s nighttime rally in Kings Cross – but the whole event is now in jeopardy due to recent action by the NSW Police Commissioner.

Keep Sydney Open have revealed that NSW Police have attempted to prohibit the rally, with the case set to be decided today in the Supreme Court. They go on to state that while notice of the rally was given well over a week ago, proceedings against Keep Sydney Open were only filed late yesterday afternoon.

The rally is planned to commence at 9:00pm in Kings Cross – the heart of the lockout laws – while homegrown stars Flight Facilities are also set to perform. Read the full statement from Keep Sydney Open below and check back later today for the outcome:
