Another big collaboration.

It seems like Sia’s recent collaboration with Sean Paul may have oozed its influence into her latest single ‘The Greatest’ – which also taps into dancehall-flavoured sounds and features a guest verse from Kendrick Lamar.

The uplifting track features Sia’s soaring vocals over relaxed electronic production, and precedes her first tour in five years that kicks off in Seattle later this month. Along with the track, Sia released a music video which unfortunately omitted Lamar’s vocal contributions – but sees the return of Maddie Ziegler, the young dancer who executed the snap-neck choreography in previous videos like ‘Chandelier’.

Most interestingly, as noted by Billboard, the video features 49 dancers who are said to represent the 49 lives lost during the Orlando shootings in June. While Sia herself has not commented on the meaning behind the video, dancer Matt Moseley posted a screenshot to his personal Instagram account with the caption “49 beautiful lives lost. This is for you.” The message only reinforces a powerful visual and another show-stopping performance from Ziegler – you can catch both versions of ‘The Greatest’ below:
