The folk/punk lords will be crowning this year’s edition of boutique festival NYE On The Hill.

Is it too early to start planning for New Years? No way! You don’t want to leave it until the last minute and end up watching the fireworks on TV with your parents again do you? Well fear not NYE On The Hill is already looking like a tasty option, with the festival having just announced that The Smith Street Band will be headlining the picturesque party.

Having hit #3 on the Aria Charts from their latest LP More Scared Of You Than You Are Of Me, the Melburnian rockers will undoubtedly be putting on a new years-worthy show, and we can already imagine punters singing their lungs out to fan favourites ‘Death to the Lads’ and ‘Young Drunk’ on the grassy hill.

Taking place on The Farm in South Gippsland from the December 30th to January 1st, NYE On The Hill only has enough room for 2700 punters which makes it the perfect balance between festival and party, but also means you better get in quick and grab a ticket.
