One of the few good things born from lockdown is without a doubt the Verzuz battle series, bringing together rappers & all time GOATS from all over the world to engage in the beautiful competition that is battle rap. Now, it’s blessing us with a match up we could only dream of, announcing that the next face-off will feature Snoop Dogg vs DMX.

Announcing the news on Instagram, Snoop wrote “I ain’t got no dogg in this fight ! Yes u do who u got.” Fans will be able to watch the battle next Wednesday July 22 on Instagram or Apple Music.

DMX is no stranger to the Verzuz battle scene, previously challenging Jay-Z to a battle way back in May, stating “I rather go against my arch-nemesis,” referencing his decade-spanning beef with Hov. However, we’re not at all mad he’s going against Snoop, in what is sure to be a killer battle. Check out tracks from the pair below as well as the internet’s reaction to the news.
