Plenty of hilarious quotes…

Snoop Dogg without a doubt has one of the most iconic and recognisable voices in hip hop, the ‘Gin & Juice’ rapper adored for his mellow delivery and flow. However, we’ve never seen him properly use those talents outside the realm of music. Sure, he’s done a couple moves and whatnot, but we’ve never properly seen him spread his wings. That is until now, with the hip hop legend proving he’s a bloody natural-born commentator while doing commentary for some recent boxing fights, getting the perfect mix between hardcore fan and hilarious troll.

His recent words for Tyson Vs. Jones were bloody amazing, coming out with a hilarious one liner instantly, saying “This sh*t like my two uncles fighting at the barbecue” and egging the fighters on with various curses and emotion fuelled pieces of advice.

His commentary of Jake Paul vs Nate Robinson was just as good, literally breaking out in a hymn when Paul knocked Robinson to the matt, singing “Lord, take my hand. Lead me on. Let me stand.”

The commentary was so hilarious that even legendary commentator and analyst Stephen A Smith responded, writing “Are y’all listening to my man @SnoopDogg call this fight. I don’t know about the rest of y’all, but im loving this. Snoop’s the most entertaining part of this fight. He’s doing fantastic.”

Fans took to social media to voice their adoration as well, writing things like “I never want to see a boxing match without snoop commenting again, this has spoiled me forever.”

This isn’t the first time he’s done commentary for sports, lending his talents to the Lakers Vs Spurs in 2019, in which he’s way more chill and professional about it all. But regardless, we think Snoop’s commentary at the recent boxing bouts is what the world needs, and we’re praying he commentates some more events in the future. Check out Snoop’s commentary from 2019 as well as the full Jake Paul Vs. Nate Robinson bout for a healthy dose of Snoop hilarity.
