Sure it’s not technically summer in March, but we’re loving these festival installments.

Following on from their huge run of shows in Adelaide of December and January, Summer sounds have decided to spread the love a little further. Today they’ve announced that their revolutionary pod system will be heading to Melbourne’s Sidney Myer Music Bowl over February and March for a series of shows with some of the biggest acts in the country.

Hottest 100 runner ups Spacey Jane, globetrotting psych lords King Gizzard & The Lizard Wizard, Brisbanian indie-rockers Ball Park Music and Powderfinger frontman Bernard Fanning will all be performing, with a string of juicy supports too. Tickets to each event go on sale February 1st at 9am with pre-sale available from this Friday at midday. They’ll be limited, so if there’s someone in your crew who umms and ahhs about this kinda stuff, it might be time to clip them as a mate…
