Once again the festival is providing an array of entertainment that includes some big names on their Forum, Comedy and Science stages.

Do you need something extra from Splendour this year? Is inflatable Snoop Dogg hot dogs and fine music not quite stimulating enough for your massive brain? Chill out egghead, SITG has got you covered with enough conversations, jokes and science stuff that you could potentially walk out of the festival feeling like a better all-round person.

The Forum tent will see punk rock legend/writer/podcast host Henry Rollins join Tracey Spencer and Stella Donnelly on a panel focussing on the #MeToo movement, a special edition Q & A hosted by Tony Jones, and also a book club event hosted by Marieke Hardy, with loads of special guests.

Former Triple J presenter and comedian Matt Okine will be joined by the likes of Tripod, Aunty Donna, Betty Lucas, Danielle Walker, Michael Hing and more in the comedy tent with a show each of the four days that promises to increase your LOL-to-minute ratio astronomically. There’s also a science tent that features a bunch of conversations with academics from around the country, where you can learn interesting facts to impress your cooked mates.
