It’s almost easier to list who isn’t playing a sideshow this year…
In what is the biggest string of sideshows in the festival’s history, Splendour in the Grass has today announced the official list of artists set to perform alongside the annual event in July of this year. Featuring both Splendour headliners and beyond, the sideshows count almost every act on the festival’s ticket, and are slated to take over stages across Australia from Sydney to Brisbane.
Giving pundits who missed out on a ticket a chance to revel in Splendour’s all-star lineup, the official sideshows are spearheaded by living rock legend and Oasis alum Liam Gallagher, who’ll be performing at Sydney’s Aware Super Theatre and Melbourne’s John Cain Arena in late July. Elsewhere, John Cain Arena will host fellow sideshow performers Duke Dumont and YUNGBLUD, while Hordern Pavillion will welcome indie rock band Yeah Yeah Yeahs.\

Meanwhile, adding to what is an already stacked month for live music, Australia’s capital cities will also see the likes of Jack Harlow, Jungle, Mura Masa, Aitch, Tom Misch, Oliver Tree, Tierra Whack and Joy Crookes, but that’s barely even scratching the surface.
