The festival is looming.
Alright Splendour fans, we’ve got a couple of bits of news for you. Firstly, the 2019 lineup will be getting announced on triple j next Wednesday, April 3rd at 8am. And if the roster is going to include many of the acts we predict (and hope) will be taking the stage in July, we reckon it’s probably worth setting that alarm.
Secondly, this year’s SITG Artist In Residence will be Lee McConnell, whose work you may recognise from a lot of Dune Rats album art and tour posters, as well as his collabs with Jack River and Mambo. He has an undeniable Aussie tinge to his stuff and will undoubtedly bring a load of colour to the 2019 festival.
