With just five weeks until Splendour in the Grass lights up Ngarindjin / North Byron Parklands for its 21st edition, the festival has unveiled a tasty little bonus lineup for your viewing pleasure.
At the Byron Bay Brewery Bar, catch the fun-loving larrikins Beddy Rays with their heartfelt lyrics, mosh-worthy riffs, and huge hooks. Chutney, a captivating breakout star, will bring infectious tunes to keep you grooving. Cool Sounds, an indie-rock six-piece band, nods to 80s pop, cheerful funk, and alt-country. Don’t miss Eggy, an exciting new band from Melbourne’s underground scene, known for their fuzz, synths, samples, and synergy. Ghost Mutt will hurl their special brand of pop-rock into the universe with crooning and wailing. Go-Jo offers catchy tracks, captivating personality, and out-of-the-box style. The Grogans explore a mix of surf, punk, blues, garage, psych, rockabilly, and reggae.
Prepare to dance at Smirnoff Seltzer Springs, where Palm Springs vibes by day and Vegas neon by night set the stage. Northern Rivers legends Bare Foot Beat will curate a DJ lineup featuring tech house, progressive tech house, deep house, and more. Sundays Lemonade brings hip hop, R&B, Afro, and Soulection to the party. Lost Sundays, the masterminds behind Lost Paradise Festival and Paradise Club nights, will showcase diverse electronic genres. The Doctor Daytime crew promises infectious energy, great music, and vibes.
