No, your band’s EP didn’t make it.

In a year where most of us were looking to music for some sort of escape, the world seems to have found solace in a Puerto Rican trap star and soft-boi rap. In the words of a fella who probably would have dominated this chart in the 60s and 70s, “Whatever gets you through the night. It’s alright.”

Bad Bunny was joined by the likes of Taylor Swift, Drake and Justin Bieber in the Most-Streamed Artists category, while US popster Olivia Rodrigo’s album SOUR topped the album category and her tune ‘drivers license’ was the most played track.

Unsurprisingly, Joe Rogan has topped the podcast charts, with JoRo’s (nickname coined here) exclusive Spotify deal presumably playing a big part in that.
