After months of being on sale, Drake’s Hidden Hills mansion has finally been snapped up off the market. Best known as the ‘Yolo Estate’, the ‘Nice For What’ rapper bought the five-acre property for $7.7 million USD ten years ago while he was fresh off his debut album Thank Me Later. Now, following extensive renovations (and several albums later), the hip hop don has sold it off for a neat $12.2 million USD.
Along with the mechanical bull and 80-foot rock waterslide (a sentence I never thought I’d type), the home features a custom swimming pool, sand volleyball court, a secret grotto with TVs and a bar, a theatre, recording studio and tasting room. And as is usually the case with houses of this calibre, it features seven bedrooms and nine bathrooms, along with a 2000-square-foot suite that’s (get this) hidden behind a bookshelf.
So far the buyer of the bachelor pad has remained anonymous, but given that he sold his last home to NFL quarterback Matthew Stafford and bought his most recent from Robbie Williams, we’re guessing it was no ordinary buyer. For now, check out the rest of the mansion below.
