Three men and a room full of keyboards.

Life during the pandemic has been extremely tough for some. Limited social interaction, extended hours indoors, slowly eroding personal hygiene standards – and that’s not including the obvious health concerns. Tame Impala AKA Kevin Parker, however, has seemingly thrived. The self-described “loner”, who spends 90% of his life barefoot, has performed live from lockdown on TV shows such as Colbert’s, Mark Ronson’s Lockdown Live Stream and various just-for-the-hell-of-it streams.

Now we can add Annie Mac’s BBC Radio One show to that list, with Kev and co. taking to the keyboard wing of his house (we assume he has a keyboard wing) for a very synthy cover of Nelly Furtado’s ‘Say It Right’ and his own song ‘Is It True’. As with a typical Tame performance, the sound is crisp, the vocals are spacey and the vibe is chilled. Check out both videos below which will hopefully be some consolation for Tame’s postponed Aus tour…
