Oh damn. Soulfest has just thrown down the most ambitious international line-up we’ve seen in some time, with a second announce of soul, neo-soul and R&B artists, including the legendary singer-songwriter Lauryn Hill, Miguel and Talib Kweli and Mos Def’s collaboration Black Star.

Joining the new array of artists will be Mary J. Blige Jill Scott, Charlie Wilson, Talib Kweli, De La Soul, Jhene Aiko and upcoming local Melbourne talent Maribelle. Best get out the body glitter and demin hats, it’s feeling pretty 90’s in here.

In addition to this would-class line-up, Soulfest will also feature “an expansive array of cuisine” with authentic soul food and pop-up eateries, plus a number of themed bars featuring fine wine, imported beers and spirits, and café’s serving some of the world’s best coffee.
