A club battle of the Justins.

When discussing who’s really the Prince of Pop in 2016, two names that might come to mind are Justin Bieber and Justin Timberlake.

You might remember that DJ Levins hosted the Justin Bieber Appreciation Society party in Sydney a few months back, which sold out in spectacular fashion with hordes of squealing females. Now, he’s back with another night of Bieber Fever that puts the Canadian singer alongside former *NSYNC star Justin Timberlake.

A whole night of Justin Bieber vs. Justin Timberlake? This clash is bigger than the fuckin’ State of Origin. It’s all going down at Plan B Small Club on June 25, with one room dedicated to each star and tunes provided by DJ Levins and co. We have no doubt that there’s going to be plenty of bangers – Timberlake in particular has built a solid portfolio produced by Pharrell and Timbaland – so put your dancing shoes on now in anticipation.

Ahead of the night, we compiled a little summary as to who really is the supreme Justin. Please see below for our analysis:

Points in favour of Justin Timberlake:

Justin Timberlake has been laying low-key for a minute, but returned with sunshine and lollipops aplenty in his latest single ‘Can’t Stop The Feeling‘. This song was really, really, really happy – an emotion I’m completely unfamiliar with – but with Pharrell Williams on production duties, we’re expecting him to drop a pretty sizeable full-length sometime in 2016.

1) Appeared on The Simpsons alongside Party Posse #YvanEhtNioj
2) Wore a Canadian tuxedo to the American Music Awards in 2001 with Britney Spears
3) Collaborated with both Clipse and Three 6 Mafia
4) Owned part of MySpace at one point for some reason
5) His hair used to look like two-minute noodles

Points in favour of Justin Bieber:

Despite being hailed as an ungrateful little turd by many critics, Justin Bieber converted skeptics into full-blown Beliebers with his last album Purpose – which showed a matured, electronic-laced sound for the singer. Bangin’ collaborations with Diplo, Skrillex and Travis Scott also helped boost his credibility within dance and rap circles – and now it’s completely 100% okay to admit you like Bieber without some bogan throwing a schooner glass at your forehead.

1) Was charged with vandalism after throwing eggs at his neighbour’s house
2) Is about to drop a remix to Drake’s ‘One Dance’
3) Did this interview with DJ Vick One while wearing a fedora
4) Has perhaps the world’s most dedicated and psychopathic fanbase in the history of music
5) Once dated Selena Gomez

Of course, the real winner will be decided on the night – so head along to Plan B Small Club on June 25 and support your Justin of choice. Details here:
