There’s A New 2Pac Project Called ‘1998’ Releasing This Week

It’s been over two decades since 2Pac passed, but it looks like we might be receiving a new album from the West Coast rapper – and it’s coming this weekend.

An Instagram account run by 2Pac’s estate has begun teasing a project called 1998 dropping on November 24. Though it’s unclear as to what the project actually includes, Complex speculates that it’s connected to 2Pac’s posthumous Greatest Hits compilation, which dropped on November 24, 1998.

Exactly 20 years on from that release, it looks like we may be receiving new material from 2Pac on 1998, as his estate recently won a five-year legal battle where they recovered two to three albums worth of material, as well as six-figure settlement for unpaid royalties.

The Instagram post below is urging you to sign up to be the first in the know – but it’s safe to say that there’ll be 2Pac material to soundtrack your Saturday and Sunday:
