Tkay Maidza Drops Her Second Album Single ‘Simulation’
The debut is arriving on October 28.

Tkay Maidza has already dropped one of the year’s catchiest singles with Martin Solveig collaboration ‘Do It Right’ – best believe that it’ll get further thrashing as we head into summer – and now she drops another infectious pop gem in ‘Simulation’.

It’s just under two weeks until Tkay drops her self-titled debut album on October 28 – and ‘Simulation’ acts as the second single from the project after the arrival of ‘Carry On’ featuring ATL legend Killer Mike. The single sees Tkay tip-toe the line between hip-hop and electronica, with tropical results that display her ability to deliver bars with a warm sense of infectious melody.

If ‘Simulation’ is anything to go by, then Tkay is going to be one of the year’s most refreshing Australian rap releases. In support of the album, Tkay will be playing two dates in New Zealand before trekking across Australia with support from Sable & Midas.Gold. After that, she’ll be playing the three East Coast dates for Falls Festival and backing it up on NYD for Field Day in Sydney. Busy times ahead:
