Touch Sensitive Is Back With A Brand New Single In ‘Lay Down’

Multi-instrumentalist and production maestro Touch Sensitive is back with a new single in ‘Lay Down,’ marking his first official release since 2013’s cult hit ‘Pizza Guy.’

Premiering on Triple J last night, ‘Lay Down’ already feels like a club and festival favourite, with an infectious vocal sample and thick bassline providing a classic house feel. It’s a perfect track for carefree nights on the dancefloor, marking a welcome return for the Australian dance staple.

“I’ve always had a two or three year gap between releases, so why break the tradition now? Whenever I make something, I ask myself two questions, ‘Would I keep this in my iTunes?’ and ‘Would I show this to my friends?’ That’s really how I judge music,” Touch Sensitive says.

Next month, Touch Sensitive will be touring across the United States, including some shows alongside his Future Classic colleagues Flume and Flight Facilities. We’re hoping that Australian dates are coming soon, because ‘Lay Down’ is a very nice time. Listen here:
