There’s a lot to love at Laneway Festival.

But while this year’s edition is jam-packed with internationals, sometimes it’s the tried and tested Australian acts that steal our hearts, treat our earholes and put on a show for the ages. All-star psychedelic outfit Pond (coming in hot from Perth) have done just that, becoming one of the event’s essential acts off the back of their recently re-released album The Weather and new single ‘Fire In The Water.’

While the majority of Laneway shows are done and dusted, there’s still a chance for Brisbane and Fremantle punters to catch Pond this weekend before they embark on an extensive American tour in May. Ahead of the final two Laneway performances, Pond have given us an insight into their time on the road with this tour diary. Check it out below, and prepare for a bigger Pond takeover in 2018:
