But while this year’s edition is jam-packed with internationals, sometimes it’s the tried and tested Australian acts that steal our hearts, treat our earholes and put on a show for the ages. All-star psychedelic outfit Pond (coming in hot from Perth) have done just that, becoming one of the event’s essential acts off the back of their recently re-released album The Weather and new single ‘Fire In The Water.’

While the majority of Laneway shows are done and dusted, there’s still a chance for Brisbane and Fremantle punters to catch Pond this weekend before they embark on an extensive American tour in May.
