Talk about an inst-classic.

Having already amassed over 80K streams on Spotify, it’s clear there’s an appetite for the latest track from legendary Canadian producer A-Trak and rising Australian-born house star Loods. ‘What Can I Do’ is grounded with a classic house beat, and features a euphorically uplifting piano sample that feels like sunrise. It’s the melding A-Trak’s signature funk stylings with Loods’ taste for melody that will have you rinsing this one on repeat, over summer.

“When I first started DJing, A-Trak productions were a fixture in my CD wallet so I was super spun out by the opportunity to make music with him,” Loods says. “He was every bit the personable/talented legend I’d heard/hoped. We ended up doing a few hours in a studio space above Old Street Roundabout. It was a very sticky day by London standards and, perhaps by osmosis, that warmth made its way into the song we made.”

Fancy hearing this one in the flesh? Loods along with Bobby Vibe Positive, B.Catt and Maia Bilyk will be bringing the Steel City beats to Sydney January 10th, taking over the Oxford Art Factory for one sweltering evening of dance – tickets here, info below.
